The entrance to Newport Aquarium near Cincinnati. We went not too long ago. I had a page in here, but deleted it in a brain dump moment. I'm adding it back because I like the pictures and want to share them with those who haven't seen them. This is me and Nina with Greg and Heather getting our Aquarium visit souvenir photo taken outside the entrance. It was a wonderful visit, a wonderful place and a great day! See the alligators on the floor? They have their own house with TV! Look closely to the right center behind the bubbles and you'll see one of the divers in the big tank tending to things and entertaining us tourists! The kids, including me, loved him! Although hard to envision here, this is the big theatre where we all sat down for a minute and listened to Diver Bob, a volunteer in the tank, tell about the fish and the Aquarium and the sharks. You can see a shark in the right just above the blonde girl's head. Diver Bob is in the center at the base of the bubbles. Here's Nina looking down into the big shark tank. It was huge and had many tubes, as you'll see in a minute below, through which we walked and viewed all sorts of underwater creatures! This is a shark, of course, swimming overhead as we walked through a tube through the water. One of the tubes was one of the longest single tubes in the world! You'll see it below... See the penquins on stage? The kids and I loved them! If you look closely, you can see them swimming below the ones standing on the shore. Yes, Elizabeth, these are really piranha. They were beautiful. See the round tank in the center? It was another aquarium as we walked through the building. You can see Greg on the right. You can also see another visitor through the top of the tank. This is a shark on the right seen through a window in the big tank. This is my favorite picture of the day! Greg looking up at a shark swimming overhead in one of the tunnels through the big tank. This is one of the longest. Here's Heather, in red, and Greg walking through one of the long tubes into an open area ahead. After we left the Aquarium, we went across the shopping area and had lunch at Johnny Rocket's 50's style hamburger joint! It was good and EXPENSIVE! Greg looks conked! Our waiter kept singing with the 50's music playing on the juke box. We tipped him well!
